Lutjen’s headquarters enhances its employees’ day-to-day experience, delivering a clean, simple design that integrates both the character of the original warehouse and sustainable elements that reflect the company’s focus on environmental responsibility. Indirect lighting, natural light and exterior views were incorporated throughout, with large spaces allocated to social and break functions to promote interaction. Recycled/reclaimed materials, energy efficient lighting, and geothermal heating and cooling also contribute to a positive work environment and support the building’s planned LEED Silver Certification.
